Bridge (or Fixed Bridge, or Fixed partial Denture)

A dental bridge is a fixed (irremovable) prosthesis to fix one or more missing teeth. It usually involves two adjacent teeth as anchor teeth (two adjacent teeth are prepared as crowns), and they connect one or more false tooth in between.

Fixed bridge has been used many years to replace missing teeth. However, dental implant has been proven a more conservative (do not need to cut down healthy tooth structure),more predictable, and more natural way to replace missing teeth, especially to replace a single missing tooth. Please discuss the advantage and disadvantage of a dental bridge as your treatment option, as well as materials being used with Dr. Liang.
